Wind tower manufacture for client, Suzlon Energy Australia has been completed with the final tower sections loaded on trucks bound for site in early May.
The scope of the project consisted of the supply, fabrication, fit out and transport to site of 23 four section towers.
The project was managed and executed from RPG Dalby with the assistance of the Adelaide team. It represents a significant achievement in that the towers were manufactured against the odds, with floods and other hurdles experienced at the beginning of the year in South East Queensland.
Woodlawn Wind Farm, owned by Infigen Energy, is located near Tarago in New South Wales, adjacent to Infigen’s Capital Wind Farm which became operational in late 2009.
