RPG has recently secured further work with client, Golding Contractors for fabrication work at the Santos GLNG RG Tanna & Port Central Facilities at Gladstone, Queensland.
The scope of the work consists of the supply, fabrication and delivery of fabricated steelwork for the Transfer Station and Conveyor Structures. The project will be managed on behalf of Rio Tinto by SKM and will commence in June 2011. Fabrication work will be undertaken at RPG Richlands.
Blair Athol Mine is located 20 km north west of Clermont in Central Queensland, supplies customers in Asia and Europe with up to 12 million tonnes of thermal coal per annum.
This contract follows on from the piling works awarded in January 2011 at the Gladstone site.
